SKNSA envisions sailing as a positive outlet for our youth with opportunities to become well rounded, self sufficient and team oriented young adults.
Programs
Consistency is key-the programs below run all year on both the islands of St Kitts and Nevis.
YOUTH SAIL
St Kitts Yacht Club hosts their youth sail programs each Saturday afternoon. The Nevis Aquatic and Sailing Center hosts their youth sail program on Sunday afternoons. Instructors are shared between the islands. Both clubs offer youth sail lessons on Optimists, RS Feva, Laser and Hobie Waves.
Easter and Summer Camps
Camps during the school holiday breaks prove to be a huge success in the development of youth sailing. The opportunities to sail on a daily basis provide growth at a much higher rate. Camps will continue on both islands for both Easter and Summer school breaks and also incorporate marine biology and marine conservation lessons to ensure the sailors have an understanding and an appreciation for the landscape in which they utilize.

Adult Sail Lessons
Both organizations on St Kitts and on Nevis offer sail classes to adults of any ages and of any ability. The instructors follow the RYA curriculum to advance the classes along the levels. Private classes also available as well as working with any of the hotels in St Kitts and Nevis to offer packages for their in-house guests.
SWIM CLASSES
Swim & Aquatic lessons are held on both islands. The benefits of swimming are aplenty: it's a lifesaving skill, numerous health factors and perfect foundation that can transition participants into sailing programs.
